Woman arrested in miner for tampering with stolen vehicle

MINER, Mo., (KBSI) — A 37-year-old Indianapolis woman was arrested Friday after a stolen Budget rental box truck was spotted traveling southbound on Interstate 57.

Lakesia N. Johnson was taken into custody after a felony vehicle stop was conducted by Miner officers. The vehicle, which had significant roof damage from a bridge impact in another state, was confirmed stolen.

Johnson was charged with tampering with a motor vehicle and receiving stolen property, both Class D felonies. Her bond was set at $30,000 cash or surety…
