INDIANAPOLIS – Police are investigating a deadly crash on the southwest side of Indianapolis.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers were dispatched around 3:15 a.m. Friday to W. Southport Road and Mann Road.
They encountered a single-vehicle crash involving a fatality. The Marion County Coroner’s Office identified the deceased as 26-year-old Alec X. Ivy. Ivy was the passenger, according to the coroner’s office.
IMPD closed the intersection for several hours for investigation and cleanup. The scene cleared around 6:20 a.m…
