INDIANAPOLIS — Starting in the 2026–27 school year, Indiana’s school voucher program will become universal, meaning most families—regardless of income—will qualify for help paying private school tuition.
Supporters of school choice say the goal is to give every child access to the learning environment that fits them best, whether that’s their neighborhood school, a public school in another district, a charter school, a private school, homeschooling, or virtual learning.
