The incident began when armed individuals targeted the courier at a business on the 5100 block of West Roosevelt Road and led to the apprehension of the suspects in two distinct locations, according to town officials.

The pursuit unfolded across state lines, which involved multiple vehicles, starting in Cicero and ending with two individuals making a literal splash in Indiana’s Little Calumet River. “Both surrendered while in the water without incident,” as per the same source.
