INDIANAPOLIS — IMPD is investigating a pair of kidnappings and carjackings, and a pair of suspects accused of targeting victims over dating apps. Two men are now facing charges after police reported that they posed as women online to rob their victims at gunpoint last Friday.
Court documents indicate both incidents happened at the Hawthorne Place Apartments on 32nd Street, where surveillance video captured everything — starting with the first victim walking up to the door of a vacant unit around 2:30 a.m.
The victim later told detectives he’d been messaging who he thought was a woman on the dating app “Meet Me,” but he instead was met by two men pointing guns…
