INDIANAPOLIS — Indiana University Health is reimagining patient care with a detailed redesign of hospital rooms in its new $4.3 billion downtown Indianapolis facility, slated to open in late 2027.
The new academic hospital will feature 864 single-occupancy rooms across three towers in a 16-floor, 330-foot-tall structure.
Each patient room, approximately 300 square feet, will include enhanced natural light, a designated family area, and updated layouts designed to improve safety, accessibility, and the caregiver experience.
