TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The average price of gas in Indiana fell 10.9 cents per gallon in the last week and is over 50 cents cheaper than a year ago, according to GasBuddy.
GasBuddy is an online website and app that tracks gas prices across the United States and Canada.
In their latest price report—which surveyed 3,271 gas stations in Indiana— they found that the average price of gas in Indiana is sitting at about $3.05 per gallon on Monday. This comes out to around 21 cents per gallon lower than a month ago and is 56.5 cents cheaper than a year ago.
IN gas prices up last week, but down compared to a year ago
According to GasBuddy, gas prices in Indiana on Sunday were as low as $2.61 per gallon and as high as $3.69, a difference of $1.08 per gallon. In the Terre Haute area, the cheapest gas prices Monday morning could be found at the ARCO gas station located at 2900 S Prairieton Road…
