Indianapolis man accused of driving drunk at 140 mph on I-69

JOHNSON COUNTY, Ind. — An Indianapolis man is accused of hitting speeds of 140 miles per hour while driving under the influence on Interstate 69.

Cohen Frederick, 20, is charged with resisting law enforcement with a vehicle, a Level 6 felony, along with multiple misdemeanor charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated and reckless driving.

According to court documents, a Johnson County sheriff’s deputy caught Frederick’s Kia Stinger driving 140 mph on a stretch of I-69 near Smith Valley Road late Wednesday night.
