A Carmel man was among 11 people sentenced to federal prison for their roles in an armed drug trafficking ring.
Jayden Bertram, 22, of Carmel, was convicted of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute and to distribute controlled substances. He was sentenced to 20 years, 10 months imprisonment with five years of supervised release.
Bertram was part of a drug trafficking organization led by Jaraughn Bertram of Indianapolis, according to a press release from the U.S. Department of Justice.
