Indiana state trooper hit by vehicle on I-465

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Jarring pictures shared by the Indiana State Police show a crash that left a trooper hospitalized.

ISP Sgt. John Perrine says the crash happened late Thursday night on Interstate 65, just south of downtown Indianapolis.

Trooper Haley Howard was parked, blocking a lane of I-65 to protect another trooper who pulled off to help a driver who broke down. While there, another car slammed into Howard’s cruiser “at highway speed.”…
