ISU Freshman dies while visiting home

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— Indiana State University announced today that a freshman student from Indianapolis tragically died this past weekend.

According to the release, freshman Kaylynn Lucas died while visiting home. Lucas was a resident of Blumberg Hall and was pursuing a degree in Automotive Engineering Technology.

“Kaylynn was a member of our community whose curiosity and kindness touched those around her,” President Mike Godard said. “On behalf of the university, I extend our heartfelt condolences to Kaylynn’s family, friends, classmates, faculty, and staff. We mourn her loss and honor her memory.”…
