INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A coalition of animal welfare groups in Indianapolis has received a $50,000 grant to provide free spay and neuter services, including vaccinations and microchipping, to pets in need.
Operation Indy Animals, which includes Friends of Indianapolis Dogs Outside and Indiana Animal Care Services, aims to address pet overpopulation by targeting unspayed and unaltered animals in Marion County. The grant from the Nina Mason Pulliam Charitable Trust will help provide these services to individuals in financial need.
