INDIANAPOLIS — An Indianapolis man has been sentenced for his role in a counterfeit temporary license plate scheme that involved creating and selling fake interim tags on Facebook Marketplace.
According to a news release, Kal Hall was sentenced to 545 days of home confinement after he was convicted of counterfeiting, which is a level 6 felony. This follows a separate 545-day sentence in the Department of Corrections for an unrelated case where Hall pled guilty to Strangulation (Level 6 Felony), Criminal Confinement (Level 6 Felony) and Domestic Battery (Level 6 Felony).
