Wisconsin homicide suspect found hiding in Indiana soybean field after police chase

MEMPHIS, Indiana — A homicide suspect wanted in Wisconsin was found hiding in a southern Indiana field on Tuesday.

The Clark County Sheriff’s Office said Flock cameras at a nearby truck stop alerted deputies to a suspect driving a stolen vehicle. Police said that suspect, Demonta Hambright, was wanted out of Wisconsin for homicide.

When officers tried to stop Hambright, he fled and led deputies on a high-speed chase through local roads before crashing on Charlstown-Memphis Road…
