INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Confusion at Monon Trail crossings has sparked safety concerns between drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians.

The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department posted a message online Thursday morning to clear up any questions about who actually has the right-of-way.

“At these intersections, who has the right-of-way? It depends,” said IMPD Captain Shane Foley.” Sometimes, it’s pedestrians if they’re in the intersection. Sometimes, it’s the motorist.”…
