LAFAYETTE, IN — An eastbound box truck struck a pedestrian who walked in front of it on Sagamore Parkway about 11:10 a.m. Monday. The pedestrian suffered serious bodily injuries, according to Lafayette police.
Paramedics rushed the man to a Lafayette area hospital, and he was transferred to an Indianapolis hospital for treatment, police said. The man’s condition is unknown, and police said they have not yet identified him.
