INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The family of a blind and deaf student in Indiana is suing the schools they attend after they said the child experienced ‘horrific abuse.’
In the complaint, the family alleges staff at both Ben Davis High School and Chapel Hill 7th & 8th Grade Center left the deaf-blind student unattended, deprived him of food, ignored his medical needs and failed to provide one-on-one training required under his individualized education plan.
