INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Indy CD & Vinyl is hosting its grand reopening this weekend — and the opening of a new live music venue, The 808, right next door.
The expansion came following a local tragedy and aims to provide a space for all ages to enjoy live music and community events, says Andy Skinner, co-owner of Indy CD & Vinyl.
In March 2024, six people were shot after a fight broke out at the now-defunct Landsharks nightclub at 808 Broad Ripple Ave., next door to Indy CD & Vinyl. One of the victims, 36-year-old Timothy Brown Jr., died of his injuries. The suspected shooter, Nicholas Fulk, is set to go on trial in January…
