This Saturday marks “National Move Over Day,” a day dedicated to emphasizing the importance of move over laws across the country.
The Indiana Department of Transportation and Indiana State Police are urging drivers to move over and slow down. The move over law, in effect since 1999, was revised in 2023. It now mandates that drivers must move over for all stationary vehicles with activated flashing lights.
