INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Bird flu has been found in a wild duck and vultures in Indiana, the Department of Natural Resources said in a news release issued Friday.
The announcement comes after avian influenza was found earlier this month at five commercial duck farms in northern Indiana.
Natural Resources says bird flu has been found in a blue-winged teal in Greene County in southwest central Indiana, and in death black vultures in Jefferson County in southern Indiana.
