An 18-year-old driver has been found dead in an abandoned house in Indiana after he crashed his car into a tree nearby, according to reports.

The Starke County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded to a report of a single-vehicle crash in the area of Range Road and 250 North on Sunday, Oct. 19, according to CBS affiliate WSBT and WKVI.

There, deputies found an unoccupied vehicle that had gone off the road and hit a tree. However, they initially were unable to locate the driver, even after speaking with family and friends of the car’s registered owner…
