Man dead after wrong-way crash in Hamilton County
WESTFIELD, Ind. (WISH) — A 62-year-old Sheridan man died in a Wednesday night wrong-way crash on northbound U.S. 31 south of the 191st Street interchange, the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release issued Thursday morning.
The Hamilton County Coroner’s Office said Edward Johnson died at the crash scene.
Johnson was driving a Chevrolet Cruze in the southbound lanes of U.S. 31 when the SUV crossed the median, and went south in the northbound lanes and collided head-on with a Dodge Ram truck near the 191st Street ramp…
