INDIANAPOLIS — Chances are you’ve seen license plate reader cameras on the interstate or in certain areas as you drive around Indianapolis.
The cameras aren’t new, but they are the latest in crime-fighting technology that the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department uses to help solve crimes.
“Everybody has a camera in their hand most of the time, and they are recording every day,” said Kendale Adams, IMPD’s deputy chief of criminal investigations
