‘I fired one last time’ | Suspect shot by Fishers police allegedly admitted to killing man in 2024 shooting over a car

INDIANAPOLIS — Court documents reveal new details about a deadly shooting that happened in Fishers in March 2024, and allegedly led to a police shooting in November 2025.

Caleb Weis, 26, of Indianapolis, was charged with murder, attempted murder, voluntary manslaughter, aggravated battery and criminal recklessness in the death of 24-year-old Cameron Doaks.

Weis is currently in critical condition after a Fishers police officer shot him as they were trying to serve him an arrest warrant on Thursday, Nov. 6…
