Indiana sheriff’s office ‘cracks down’ on ‘6-7’ slang at elementary school

TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. (WKRC) — An Indiana sheriff’s office “cracked down” on “6-7” slang use at a school and handed out “tickets” to violators of “Indiana Code 6-7.”

According to a video post from the Tippecanoe County Sheriff’s Office, resource officers at an Indiana elementary school launched a mission to “shut down” usage of the phrase “6-7” by issuing “tickets” to “as many students using the phrase as possible.”

During the video, an officer says that “6-7 county ordinance is now illegal” while walking through the empty hallway of a school. After entering a cafeteria packed with children, the officers begin passing out “tickets” to children using the phrase “6-7” while moving their hands up and down in front of them…
