INDIANAPOLIS — Three men are now facing criminal charges following a shooting just south of Monument Circle in downtown Indianapolis earlier this month.
The gunshots damaged several cars and businesses. Court records detail how police used surveillance video to track down the three suspects.
Gunfire erupts downtown; buildings, cars damaged
On the early morning of Nov. 8, a man driving down Washington Street in downtown suddenly had multiple bullets flying through his SUV. The gunfire broke a side window, windshield and back glass, while also piercing a rear headrest of the victim’s SUV.
“When I started hearing the gunshots, I didn’t know what to do next,” said the victim Muftau Sogbade. “It was very scary. Thank God I’m still alive.”…
