2 men sentenced to prison for armed robbery spree in Marion County
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Two men have been sentenced to a combined 57 years in federal prison for their roles in a string of 11 armed robberies across Marion County.
Donta Allen, 28, of Indianapolis, pleaded guilty to 11 counts of interference with commerce by robbery and four counts of brandishing a firearm during a crime of violence. In June, Allen was sentenced to 38 years in federal prison, followed by three years of restitution, and ordered to pay $12,790.91 in restitution.
Lance McGee, 33, of Indianapolis, pleaded guilty to 11 counts of interference with commerce by robbery and two counts of brandishing a firearm during a crime of violence.
