INDIANAPOLIS — Two families were displaced after fire broke out at a pair of townhomes on the far east side of Indianapolis Saturday afternoon.
In a Facebook post, the Indianapolis Fire Department reported that its crews were called to the 10900 block of Penwell Way — which is located near the intersection of East 38th Street and North German Church Road — around 1:59 p.m. When crews arrived at the scene, they located heavy fire emanating from one of the townhomes’ attached garages.
