INDIANAPOLIS — The Wall Street Journal recently crunched the numbers for Stand Your Ground states and cities to determine if self-defense laws resulted in more non-murder homicides.
Indianapolis placed No. 3 on that list with 10% justifiable homicides based on FBI reports derived from statistics supplied by the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department for the years 2021-2024.
