INDIANAPOLIS — A 26-year-old has been taken into custody after an apparent road rage shooting led to a hit-and-run crash on the southwest side of Indianapolis last month.
According to court documents, Issac Martinez was preliminarily charged in Marion County with:
- One count of criminal recklessness, a Level 5 felony
- One count of intimidation, a Level 5 felony
- Misdemeanor count of leaving the scene of an accident.
On the afternoon of Nov. 24, officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department were dispatched to the intersection of Millhouse Road and Mendenhall Road on a report of a disturbance.
The documents said that when officers arrived, they found that a hit-and-run accident had occurred between two vehicles. A man who was driving one of the vehicles, later identified as Martinez, reportedly fled from the scene.
