INDIANAPOLIS — The family of an Indianapolis woman shot to death inside her own home is speaking out about domestic violence.
Just before 7 a.m. on Saturday, 29-year-old Brittany Kavanaugh was found shot at the Garfield Park Village apartments along Troy Avenue. The victim later died at the hospital.
Police have not confirmed a motive for the violence, but the victim’s friends, family and neighbors all insist the killing was domestic-related.
