Indiana becoming hub for popular gas station chains

WXIN/WTTV — Multiple new gas station chains are making their way to central Indiana.

Wawa just opened up its first location in the Hoosier state this year. Now, there are seven locations throughout central Indiana. Wally’s is set to open up its first location in Indiana next spring and Buc-ee’s could also be coming to Indiana soon, too.

“I think it’s interesting that a lot of these large chains are coming in but at the same time, I see why they’re coming in because of the opportunities that they face, right—the population, the amount of travel that comes through here,” said Larry Belcher with the University of Indianapolis School of Business. “From a business perspective, to me, it makes perfect sense.”…
