INDIANAPOLIS — Students and alumni of Martin University are calling for changes in leadership following the Indianapolis college’s decision to pause operations because of financial and enrollment challenges.
More than two dozen people gathered Wednesday, Dec. 17 to urge the resignation of Board of Trustees Chairman Joseph Perkins, arguing that the university’s financial condition was not clearly communicated to students, staff and alumni before the closure was announced. The Martin University Alumni Association delivered a letter outlining those concerns to interim President Felicia Brokaw.
