INDIANA — After the long, dark stretch surrounding the winter solstice, brighter days are officially on the way for Indiana. According to new data from the Indiana Weather Network, the state will gain approximately 40 minutes of additional daylight over the next 30 days as January progresses.
This natural increase in daylight occurs every year after December’s shortest day, but the pace of the gain becomes more noticeable heading into the early weeks of the new year.
