INDIANAPOLIS — A man is under arrest after attempting to follow through on a promise to kill whoever his ex-girlfriend dated next. Only instead of shooting and killing his ex’s new boyfriend, he allegedly fired into the house and killed the new boyfriend’s brother.
Antwan Hayes, 19, was charged with the following:
- Murder
- Burglary with a deadly weapon, a Level 2 Felony
According to court documents, Hayes and his ex-girlfriend broke up a few months prior with Hayes allegedly threatening to kill whoever she dated. The woman claimed that she attempted to hide her new relationship from Hayes by doing things like leaving her phone at home so that Hayes could not track her.
