INDIANA — Parts of northern and northwestern Indiana could see hazardous travel conditions Saturday evening as a band of snow moves through the region, according to the National Weather Service.
Forecasters said accumulating snow is expected to move from west to east between about 6 p.m. and midnight, affecting areas that include Benton, Newton, Jasper, Iroquois, Ford, Livingston, La Salle, Grundy, and Kankakee counties. Indiana communities that could be impacted include Kentland, Morocco, Fowler, Oxford, Roselawn, Rensselaer, DeMotte, and surrounding areas.
Snow could become heavy at times, with quick accumulations of one to two inches possible in some locations. Localized areas could see higher totals.
