LAFAYETTE, IN — Several vehicles were involved in a crash early Saturday morning on Indiana 25, killing one passenger.
At 5:16 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 17, Tippecanoe County police were called to the crash on the Hoosier Heartland Corridor near County Road 700 North and found two passenger cars and a semi-tractor trailer involved in the crash about ½ mile north of the intersection, according to a news release.
A 2016 Ford Focus passenger car was traveling north on the Hoosier Heartland when the driver lost control on the icy road, police said. This vehicle spun and was struck by a 2011 Hyundai passenger car that was also traveling north. The collision forced the Ford passenger car off the road…
