HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – A bill that would add stricter punishments to those who create or distribute child sexual abuse material is now making its way to the Indiana Senate.
House Bill 1303, authored by State Representative Wendy McNamara, passed the House on Friday morning, after it unanimously passed committee earlier this week. McNamara said the bill will create a new crime for distribution of such material by raising the penalties and sentencing enhancements for possession of CSAM.
