INDIANAPOLIS – A dicey situation on the North Split left multiple cars stranded.
The situation tended to play out like this: a driver needed to take the exit, ended up in the snow drift and got stuck. Another driver would then try to go around that car before also getting stuck.
The scenario played out over and over again on I-70 westbound near mile marker 83 and the North Split.
People were getting out of their cars to push their vehicles out of the way. During one harrowing moment, a semi eased its way through a narrow gap to get to the exit…
