Bill to change how medical debt is handled in Indiana passes in the senate

Ind. (WNDU) – In the Indiana state house, a bill that would change how medical debt is handled in the Hoosier state has passed in the senate.

Right now, courts can garnish up to 25-percent of a patient’s wages to repay hospitals.
