INDIANA – Today, Governor Mike Braun signed an executive order creating an Indiana Council on Fraud Detection and Prevention to build on his success in rooting out and eliminating waste, fraud, and abuse in government.
The Council will combat waste, fraud, and abuse in federal programs administered by state agencies to promote effective stewardship of taxpayer dollars.
“Hoosiers deserve honesty, transparency, and accountability in state government spending, and my administration is leading the nation in fighting financial fraud and improper payments, cutting costs, and enhancing transparency and accountability for Hoosier taxpayers,” said Governor Mike Braun.
