INDIANAPOLIS – An investigation is underway after a man was killed in a fiery crash on Indy’s near east side Saturday night.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers responded to the intersection of East Washington Street and North Oriental Street after receiving “multiple calls” for a personal injury crash around 11 p.m..
Firefighters, with the Indianapolis Fire Department arrived on scene located a GMC pickup truck had rear-ended an excavator parked on the street and was on fire. IFD crews quickly put out the fire. An adult male trapped in the truck was pronounced dead at the scene, IMPD said…
