JAY COUNTY, Ind. — The U.S. Secretary of Transportation, Sean Duffy, announced in a social media post that the businesses involved in the employment and education of the semi-truck driver who killed four people in a crash have been held accountable.
Friday evening, the social media post detailed how the truck carrier company that employed 30-year-old Bekzhan Beishekeev, as well as the driving school, had been “knocked out of service.”
Bekzhan Beishekeev, an undocumented immigrant from Kyrgyzstan, was arrested following a crash in rural Jay County that killed four people earlier this month.
