INDIANAPOLIS — An inmate at the Marion County Adult Detention Center has been charged with smuggling the drugs that killed another inmate in October 2025.
Thomas Wilson, 42, of Indianapolis, was charged March 4 with dealing resulting in death following the Oct. 8, 2025 death of 22-year-old Akema Barrett, an inmate at the Marion County ADC.
