CARMEL, Ind. — A police chase spilled into the Jackson’s Grant neighborhood in Carmel on Tuesday. The Jackson’s Grant neighborhood is located near the intersection of West 116th Street and Spring Mill Road.
FOX59/CBS4 sent an inquiry on the incident to the Carmel Police Department after reports of a large police presence in the Jackson’s Grant neighborhood began to surface. The CPD spokesperson who responded to that inquiry told FOX59/CBS4 that there was a large police presence in the neighborhood because a police chase had happened in the area.
Police reported that the chase began as a vehicle pursuit. It later turned into a foot pursuit as the suspect implicated in the incident bailed out of the vehicle that they had been using and continued to flee from law enforcement…
