While out on bond for an alleged April 21, 2022, drug purchase that led to a shootout on US-10, a Midland man is back in jail on a $5 million bond, accused of assaulting his live-in girlfriend and two teenagers.
“It’s not something we deal with a whole lot where someone is out on bail and gets themselves wrapped up in a serious, or more serious crime,” said Midland County Sheriff Scott Holzinger.
The sheriff said deputies, along with the Michigan State Police Emergency Support Team, arrested Harold Cerda, 37, at his Warren Township home on Tuesday afternoon.
