(WANE) – Seven northeast Indiana boys basketball teams are taking home a regional championship after a busy day of high school hoops across the Hoosier state.
Snider delivered one of the biggest shockers in the state tournament so far by upsetting 4A no. 10 Carmel in a 54-46 win at New Castle Fieldhouse. Xavier Wilson led the Panthers with 18 points, while Trell Hogue and Jordan Woods added 11 to help Snider win their second regional title in school history.
Homestead is also a 4A regional champion after a 56-38 win over Harrison. The Spartans are heading back to the semi-state round for a second straight season…
