North Side Crunch Chaos, Indy Cop Collared After Off-Duty Gym Fight

An Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officer has been arrested on a felony battery charge after an off‑duty fight at a north side Crunch Fitness earlier this year. Both men involved were left with visible injuries that an evidence technician documented at the scene, and the officer was booked into the Marion County Jail. IMPD’s Special Investigations Unit says it responded to a report of a physical altercation at Crunch Fitness, 6160 N. Keystone Ave., on Feb. 21.
