Minority-owned Kem Krest to close Carmel plant, lay off 77 employees

CARMEL, Ind. — Kem Krest, a minority-owned supply chain optimization company, announced plans to close its Carmel plant and lay off 77 employees.

According to the WARN notice filed with the Indiana Department of Workforce Development, the closure is due to “declining sales, current and projected business needs, and business priorities.”

According to the company’s website, Kem Krest is “the nation’s leading provider of supply chain optimization solutions to automotive, powersports and heavy-duty OEMs.”
