I Discovered The Overlook Restaurant in Southern Indiana
As the weather starts to warm up, it’s officially time to lace up the hiking boots and hit the trails and that’s exactly what I did.
To kick off the season, my mom and I decided to try somewhere new, heading out to explore Hoosier National Forest. After tackling a few trails and soaking in the fresh air, we worked up quite the appetite—so we did what any hungry hikers would do… we searched for somewhere nearby to eat.
That’s when we stumbled across a little spot that turned out to be so much more than just a place to grab a bite—The Overlook Restaurant.
When we pulled in, the parking lot was already packed, which is usually a good sign and it definitely didn’t disappoint. This cozy, family-style restaurant has been a staple in southern Indiana for decades, known for its home-cooked meals, friendly service, and one of the best views in the entire region.
